“Join Thames Valley LPF on Wednesday 19th September for an informative evening exploring advances in the management and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, delivered by expert speaker, Dr Vanessa Raymont.
This is a follow up event to the March meeting where a member of Dr Raymonts team made a presentation on the work being undertaken in Oxford as part of the EPAD (European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia) Consortium. Dr Raymont will now provide a medical update on how the research is helping develop strategies for reducing risk for dementia and how clinical services will need to adapt to this growing need. Her talk will cover updates on current management for mild cognitive impairment and dementia, as well as practical advice for patients and carers.
The evening will include plenty of opportunities to put your questions to our expert speakers and network with like-minded colleagues.
The event is open and free-of-charge to both members and non-members.
Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.”
